Dorah Blume

Dorah Blume is author of the novel Botticelli’s Muse (Juiceboxartists Press, July 2017), a fictional story of Italian Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli, his conflicts with the Medici family of Florence, and the woman at the heart of his paintings. Her short story, “Hunger for Learning”, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and her personal essays have been published in numerous outlets, including The Cambridge Tab, The Cambridge Chronicle, Happy Magazine, River Oaks Review and Modern Maturity, among others. Dorah is a Jill of all trades with experience in several industries, from building kitchen cabinets to teaching Bikram yoga and ESL. She lives in Boston, MA, where she’s working on the sequel to Botticelli’s Muse.
